What's in the file
- Property carriers newly posted as granted in FMCSA's public records, collected each morning. A grant FMCSA posts late shows up the morning we first see it. A filing with no phone and no email is left out.
- The phone and email on the carrier's filing.

Columns, in order: Legal name, DBA, USDOT, MC number, Grant date, USDOT registered, City, State, Phone, Cell phone, Email, Email status, Officer 1, Officer 2, Also a broker, Prior suspension or revocation, Prior dockets, Shared contact (count)
- Email status: valid means the mailbox accepted the address when our verifier checked it that morning; invalid means it was undeliverable or unsafe to mail, so the email cell is left blank and the rating kept; unknown means it couldn't be confirmed; blank means it wasn't checked.
- Four columns help you judge each row. USDOT registered is the day the carrier registered with FMCSA and got its USDOT number: a couple of weeks before the grant is a fresh startup, years before is an established business getting authority. Prior suspension or revocation is the date the USDOT last lost its authority, blank when it never did. Prior dockets is how many authorities the USDOT applied for before this one. Shared contact (count) is how many other carriers on file use the same phone or email; a high count usually means a filing agent's contact, not the carrier's.
- Also a broker, so you know when a carrier holds broker authority too.
- Rows whose legal name matches an officer's name, or a legal name that reads as a personal name with no officer listed, are left out as a proxy for sole proprietors. It's a proxy: some owner-operators will still appear.
How it works
- Subscribe.
- Your first file arrives the next morning shortly after 5am Pacific from feed@granteddaily.com, CSV attached — opens in Excel, Sheets, or any CRM import.
- Cancel any time from the customer portal linked from your receipt.
Searched for "new MC leads"? Same carriers, the right name — MC numbers may be retired, and the USDOT number is what lasts. FMCSA now randomizes new MC numbers, so a new one no longer runs in sequence.
